Widyatama University is a higher education institution that fully embodies the ideals and long-term goals of the Widyatama Foundation in realizing the educational mission outlined and born from the ideals of the founders of the Foundation starting from Accounting education since 1973. The journey eventually resulted in the establishment of 4 High Schools, with the Decree of the Minister of National Education No. 137 / D / O / 2001 dated August 2, 2001, changed to Widyatama University with 5 Faculties.

The challenges faced by tertiary institutions are not only limited to the responsibilities mentioned above. Changes in the environment that are continually characterized by the characteristics of work that require workers with skills and competence and are globally oriented, clearly require an increase in the qualifications of human resources who have the creativity and courage to carry out renewal (innovation).

Furthermore, Widyatama University is one element of improving the quality of Indonesian human resources through education, which is further expected and sought to form an overall and continuous quality improvement for the nation and state. The trust is given by parents of students, the community and employment will lead to the achievement of our common goals, namely qualified Indonesian people with high morals and morals.

Widyatama University is opening as widely as possible for people who want to gain knowledge according to their expectations. In this regard, a Guidebook is needed so that prospective students who are interested in continuing their studies at Widyatama University get adequate information.
